Foggy Bottom is built on the remains of the Fogg Family Estate. Jebediah Fogg came to the Ohio Valley in the late 1860's, purchasing this property at what he thought was a bargain price at the time. What Jebediah did not know was the strange history of the property. A history that included many disappearances and deaths that all coincided with the rising autumn fog. After the disappearances of his farmhands and his only daughter, it is said that Jebediah went into the fog searching for his young Sarah, only to never return. After Jebediah turned up missing, his son, Mordecai, arrived from Germany with his young wife and sank into a depression mourning the loss of his family. Committed to Dr. Phobias' Insane Asylum, he was not able to keep his young bride from the clutches of his jealous and greedy Aunt Morbidia. Locking her nephew's young bride in the attic, Morbidia sought her brother's fortune she thought was hidden in the fog. No one knows for sure what waits in the fog, but be sure that you don't go alone. |
