The Legend of Foggy Bottom

They were pillars of society and the center of controversy. At times they were envied for their financial acumen and pitied for their tragic misfortunes. Stories of scandal and mysterious disappearances became rampant. Welcome to the Fogg family estate.

Jebidiah Fogg came to this valley in 1886 from a small village in Germany. He arrived with only one child, Sarah, and purchased this abandoned property that had lay fallow for several years after the reported disappearances of a troop of civil war soldiers and even older tales of a tribe of native Indians being lost in the fog of this tiny valley. Not long after, hired hands and daughter Sarah vanished into the fog, followed by Jebidiah himself. His untimely disappearance saved him from an angry town’s inquisition concerning the mysterious happenings on the estate.
